Steve Allen of Allenton Custom Homes has won the COHBA’s Caliber Award!
What is the Caliber Award?
Builders and Associates working together – that is the “caliber” or heart and soul that make his Association strong. This strength and the importance of this relationship deserve the special recognition. This award recognizes and provides a symbol of respect to the one Builder who best exemplifies the “Heart of doing business with Associate Members.” It also commends the Builder who utilizes Associate members in the bidding and building process as well as recognizes the importance of his or her business relationship not only with Associates, but the community as well.
Nominations are made by Associate members data is compiled, and then presented to a judging panel.
All Builder and supplier information is removed from the data to keep this as anonymous as possible.
The judges make their decision based on the following criteria:
• Percentage of members vs. non-members that were used on projects submitted.
• Answers to Application Questions that cover how they demonstrate their commitment to COHBA, give back to their community and why doing business with members within
COHBA is important.
• Feedback from the ballot of questions given to supplier/vendors they do business with.
• Participation in Associate Council Events
