It is vital to our industry that we take responsibility to ensure our young adults receive technical training in construction-related fields. We are committed to helping these students receive the specialized education they need to protect the reputation of our industry.
Your State Associates Council has done just that - and NOW we need YOUR help.
The State Associates Council has established endowment funds with both OU and OSU. We have contributed to seven (7) Statewide Technical Centers (Vo-techs) in order to provide scholarships for worthy students enrolled in various construction programs.
In an effort to continue to fund these scholarships, we will be hosting an Auction at the OSHBA Conference July 18-20 to be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas.
"How can I help?" you ask. It's EASY. Donate an item (or two) to be sold in this auction. Your generosity will multiply exponentially and support the continuation of our scholarships. Any item will work - discounted services, construction products, gift baskets, house hold items, appliances, model home accessories, jewelry, cool fashion items, pool side accessories, etc.
We would like to gather these items as soon as possible, and will be very happy to make arrangements to pick them up from you. Even if you are not able to attend the Conference, you CAN make a difference and help protect your future!!
