Today's Call to Action is a little different. It is targeting some specific legislators whether or not you live in their district.
Yesterday the Conference Committee on Natural Resources failed to sign out our "takings" bill - HB 2836. Quite frankly, we got beat.The municipal league sent an alert to their city managers group and they all called the members asking them not to support our bill. They used language that made it sound like it would handicap their city. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Unfortunately, the legislators did not hear from our members.
Please take a moment and send a note to these elected officials asking them to take a stand for private property rights.
Please take a moment to send an email or to call and let's let our legislators hear from the building community! It doesn't matter whether or not you live in their district. They need to hear from all of us!
