It is our prayer and hope that you all have a very enjoyable Easter holiday. The Senate went homeon Wednesdayto enjoy the holiday and the House adjourned earlyThursday. Next week will be a busy week.
It was a relatively quiet week this week. All action is taking place on the floor of each chamber. The House is working on Senate bills and the Senate is working on House bills. There are still several huge issues yet to be cussed and discussed. I look for a few late nights next week.
This week the Construction Industry Coalition hosted the House Republican Caucus for lunch. I was pleased to be able to point out again our newest member - the Speaker of the House. There was some good natured fun over that!
