Casey Felix, assistant vice president and trust officer at Central National

Bank of Enid, was named the 2011 Associate of the Year Friday night by the

Oklahoma State Home Builders Association.

The award was presented at the home builders' annual banquet, held at

Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa. It was one of several awards handed

out by the state's home builders. About 130 people attended the event.

Felix, who has been active for the past several years with the Enid Home

Builders Association, chaired the OSHBA's Associates Council this past

year. The Associates Council is the right arm of the OSHBA, representing

businesses that support the home building industry in Oklahoma and the

OSHBA's 2,800 membership.

Felix has served six terms on the Enid Home Builders Association board of

directors, one as president.

In addition to civic endeavors in Enid, Felix serves as an area representative

for the Oklahoma Professional Women in Building. She has attended the

International Builders Show for several years.

Felix was cited for her commitment to volunteer activities on behalf of Enid

home builders and other civic organizations including the Enid Kiwanis

Club, which she has served for several years.

The state home builders at their annual banquet also named Michael

Herndon, Kingston, as Builder of the Year. New association officers are

Brandon Perkins, Tulsa, president; Jeff Click, Edmond, vice president/

treasurer; Herndon, past president; and Todd Booze, Norman, incoming vice
