Wow, what a great summer convention!

For those that made it this year, I am sure you went home a little more educated and a

little more encouraged. Thanks to Lt. Colonel Steve Russell for a great keynote and some wonderful lessons on leadership. I went home pretty inspired.

For those that didn't make it, well, I hope you hear from those that did and make plans to join us next year. You don't have to be a board member or a certified professional builder to come. You will add some tools for your business and professional growth.

Speaking of the convention, one of the decisions made by the Board at convention was to pass the dues increase on the state level. Starting in January 2013 the portion of your dues that funds the State association will go from $85 annually to $110 annually. Ask your local association president or executive officer for what the State association means to you. They will soon be receiving a letter from the State office that explains what all you receive for your dues. Let me make it short...it is money in your pocket and the ability to grow your business.

I am available to come to your local association meeting if you would like to learn more. Just drop me a note.

Serving this great association together, I am truly blessed.

Brandon Perkins, 2012 President

PS - here is just one lesson I learned at the convention - 9 out of 10 will know what to do when a crisis comes but only 1 out of 10 will do it. Are you the one?
