Good afternoon HBA Members!
Another deadline this week and more bills failed to make it through. Our tracking list just keeps getting smaller. The fun though is just beginning.
Why? Here are issues that still have to be dealt with:
- American Indian Cultural Center - will the legislature provide additional funding or not?
- Repairs to the State Capitol - will the legislature approved a bond package to get it fixed or not?
- Pension Reform - will the legislature pass something this year or kick the can forward another year?
- Common Core - will it be repealed, modified, or what?
In the meantime, we will continue to watch your back and try to keep the industry in good position.
