Good afternoon HBA Members!
Hope everyone is planning on a fun and enjoyable Memorial Weekend. I guess this means it is officially summer!
It also means the legislature is done with their work this session. Today, May 25, is the last day of session as the Constitution says the legislature must adjourn by 5:00 today. As I type this update to you, the legislature is going fast and furious on last minute changes.
We had some good things happen and some bad things happen. But until the final gavel there is still opportunity for both!
Next week I will give a wrap-up of the session. This week I will forgo the attachment.
As you enjoy the holiday, remember the sacrifices that were made for our freedom is the reason for this weekend. Be safe!
