Last week saw the second deadline of the session. Bills had to be passed out of the originating body to remain alive - e.g., bills in the House had to be passed out of the House...bills in the Senate had to be passed out of the Senate. The bill to fix the Capitol, the tax cut bill, and funding for the Native American Cultural Center made and go on to the next level. Clean up language to the Roofer Registration bill also passed.
