The Oklahoma State Home Builders Association has teamed up with the United Way of Central OK, Oklahoma County Social Services and AARP for a Senior Summit on Housing. This is an important issue as our country faces an aging population. With the Baby Boomers now beginning to enter their retirement years, how their housing situation meets their needs and desires are paramount.
The Summit will be held at the Magnuson Hotel and Meridian Convention Center (I-40 and Meridian) on Tuesday, August 14. There will be a morning session that will mainly be a focus session with seniors and soon to be seniors.
The afternoon session is for the professional community. It will begin with a luncheon presentation and will conclude by 3:00 pm. There is no cost to attend but you are requested to register in advance by clicking on the link below. Builders, Developers, Bankers and Realtors are invited to attend.
