Tarek Khan
We're excited to have Tarek Khan speaking at the 2014 Building Summit. Tarek joined BASF Construction Chemicals (then Master Builders) in early 1996 and has held positions in marketing, sales, and sales management. Currently he is in a business development role in the Western United States. Since joining BASF, Khan has assisted concrete producers to develop, market, and produce high performance concrete mixtures for a variety of applications, including residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. Tarek is knowledgeable about ultra-high strength, high early strength, self-consolidating, architectural and low CO2 concrete mixtures. He is a civil engineer, a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute, and a member of several ACI technical committees, including the Residential Concrete committee. Khan was a co-recipient of ASTM's Sanford E. Thompson Award for original applied research in the field of hot weather concrete. He will speaking on concrete problems and finishing.
